Three Days Two Nights
Approx. 35-45 miles a day
Route:
Start in Chester, Vermont at the Park Light Inn arrive at 5pm and stay here for the night. Wake up with a country breakfast and start your tour. Travel a mix of dirt and paved roads through the Vermont countryside. You will spend night two at the Brandmeyer’s Mountainside Lodge in Weston. Choose to stay in and eat at the Lodge or go out for a romantic dinner at the Weston Inn followed by a Play at the Weston Playhouse. Start the next day with a country breakfast and then start peddling up Mount Holly MTN. You will pass through Belmont, past Star Lake and then into Ludlow. From Ludlow you will peddle up a small dirt road into the quaint countryside of Andover. From Andover you will ride back to the Park Light Inn. This will end your tour.

EQUIPMENT: Riders should come well prepared with bikes, comfortable riding clothes (including rain gear and hat, gloves, and warm cloths for spring and fall trips), water bottles, spare tubes, tools, tire pump, and first aid kit.
Leave your car behind and meet your luggage at the next inn.

Chester, VT, is approximately two hours drive from Burlington, VT, and Manchester, NH, three hours Boston, Albany, NY, and Montreal, and 4 from New York City.
Six Days Five Nights

Route:
Start in Chester, Vermont at the Park Light Inn arrive at 5pm and stay here for the night. Wake up with a country breakfast and start your tour. Travel a mix of dirt and paved roads through the Vermont countryside. You will ride to the tallest waterfall in Vermont. From here, ride into West Townshend; pass over the Townshend Dam and past the Scott Covered Bridge. You will then ride into Newfane where you will stay at the Four Columns Inn. Wake up for a nice breakfast and then hit the road. Ride to South Wardsboro and then to Wardsboro. You will then enter Jamaica State Park and ride on the West River Trail up to the Ball Mountain Dam. Here you will have to either ride or walk your bike up the switch back trail on the back side of the dam. Once you reach the top you can choose to ride the rest of the way to the Inn or catch a ride with the support vehicle. Journey to the town of Weston on the next day. You will ride to the small town of Peru and then past Hapgood Pond. You will then ride over Morgan Hill into the town of Weston. You will then enter the Green Mountain National Forest and travel on some small dirt roads until you arrive at the Brandmeyer’s Mountainside Lodge. Choose to stay in and eat at the Lodge or go out for a romantic dinner at the Weston Inn followed by a Play at the Weston Playhouse. . Start the next day with a country breakfast and then start peddling up Mount Holly MTN. You will pass through Belmont, Star Lake and then go over some dirt roads into North Shrewsbury. You will then ride down Shrewsbury Rd and onto RT 100 where you will pass the Ludlow Lakes. You will then ride to Jackson Gore Resort on Okemo MTN. You can end your day here with a dip in the pool or if you haven’t gotten enough riding you can ride up MTN Road to look over the town of Ludlow. Have a nice breakfast at the Resort and then start in on your last day of biking. Ride into the town of Cavendish and then down the gulf road to RT 103. You will then ride up RT 103 to a small dirt road and up to the spectacular views from East Hill in Andover. You will then proceed to the Park Light Inn. This will end your tour.
