Paddle New York’s Long Lake and Raquette River into Tupper Lake.

This paddle will be in the Adirondacks of NY.  You will paddle the pristine waters of Long Lake.  This lake is a 14 miles in length.  Most of the time the wind will be at our backs as we head down the lake.  We will find a camp site on the shores of the lake and have a great time camping.  We will be paddling toward the Raquette River.  Once on the Raquette we will be meandering between sandy and wooded banks.  We will be traveling with the currant so if you like to fish this is a great time to see what you can catch for dinner.  There are many birds and other animals for you to watch as you paddle down stream.  There is one large portage past Raquette Falls.  This is over a mile carry and we will most likely stop here for the night.  We can make this trip for 3 days two nights or longer.  Ask about an Inn stay after your last day of paddling.  This is a three day minimum trip.
